Eyelash Curl - Lash Styling by Refectocil
RefectoCil Eyelash Curl with collagen and cysteine gives your lashes a wonderful curl lasing up to 6 weeks. This informative guide provides instruction, plus advice and tips on how to achieve the perfect eyelash curl using Refectocil's Eyelash Curl kit and products.
3 steps to beautiful eyelashes:
1. Create the eyelash curl with RefectoCil Eyelash Perm.
2. Tint the eyelashes for only 2 minutes.
3. Apply RefectoCil Styling Gel for optimum care of curled and tinted lashes. Used daily it intensively strengthens and nourishes lashes plus giving them a wonderful shine.
1. PREPARATION
- Remove contact lenses.
- Clean eye area with RefectoCil Micellar Eye Make-Up Remover (sold separately).
- For optimum adhesion of eyelash rollers, remove oils from eyelids and eyelashes with RefectoCil Saline Solution (sold separately).
- Cover lower eyelashes with RefectoCil Silicone Pads (sold separately) to ensure that you affix only upper eyelashes to eyelash rollers.
2. SELECT THE EYELASH ROLLER
The rollers are availble in 4 sizes:
(S): For short eyelashes
(M): For medium-long lashes
(L): For long lashes
(XL): For very long lashes
Tips for selecting the right size:
• You have selected the correct roller size when the eyelashes cover half of roller circumference.
• If chosen roller is too small and eyelashes too long, the result will be a U-shaped curl.
• If chosen roller is too large and eyelashes too short, the result is no curl or a weak curl.
3. APPLYING EYELASH ROLLER (see figure 1 & 2)
The client has to keep the eyes closed until the end of the treatment.
- By bending the roller several times it will achieve a form corresponding to lid curvature.
- Gently stretch eye lid with your fingers, first apply eyelash roller at inner lid edge - just above base of eyelash.
- Apply other end of eyelash roller at outer lid edge, ax roller with light pressure along eye lid. There should be no skin visible between roller and lashes, if there is remove and reapply.
4. FIXING EYELASHES (see figure 3 & 4)
- Using application stick, ax upper eyelashes to eyelash roller starting at inner lid edge.
- With an upwards motion press eyelashes evenly and straight onto self-adhesive eyelash roller.
- If individual eyelashes adhere crossed over on eyelash roller, carefully remove them and affix them in a straight line.
- With stubborn eyelashes or those that have come off apply a small amount of Refectocil Glue to eyelash roller and affix eyelashes again.
- After all eyelashes are adhered perfectly straight to eyelash roller ask client to briefly open their eyes.
- If any eyelashes from lower lid adhere to eyelash roller, carefully remove them using application stick, as only upper eyelashes are being curled.
5. APPLY LASH PERM (see figure 5 & 6)
- Place pea-size amount of RefectoCil LashPerm 1 into the RefectoCil Cosmetics Bowl 1.
- Use RefectoCil Cosmetics Brush 1, apply strip of RefectoCil LashPerm 1, to centre section of eyelashes where the curl is required (do not apply at the base or tips of eyelashes).
- Allow to work for 8 minutes.
- Remove with a dry cotton bud.
6. APPLY NEUTRALISER (see figure 7)
- Place pea-size amount of RefectoCil Neutraliser 2 in RefectoCil Cosmetics Bowl 2.
- Use RefectoCil Cosmetics Brush 2, apply strip of Neutraliser 2 to same area where you applied LashPerm.
- Allow to work for 5 minutes
- Remove with a dry cotton bud.
7. REMOVE EYELASH ROLLERS (see figure 8)
- Touch eyelash roller several times with moist cotton pad to slowly loosen glue.
- If necessary, gently rub back and forth several times until glue has dissolved completely.
- Gently stretch eyelid and carefully roll eyelash roller downwards.
TIPS
1. If the eyelash roller is too long and extends beyond the lid edge you can trim with scissors.
2. If you apply a little glue to the roller wait a few seconds for the glue to slightly dry before affixing the lashes.
3. If the curve of the eyelashes is too tight, the selected eyelash roller was too small. Select a larger eyelash roller and repeat the process using half the application time.
4. If the curve of the eyelashes is too weak reasons could be: application time too short (with Lash Curl Solution or Neutraliser), or the roller too large, or eyelashes were not cleansed correctly.
5. An uneven result can occur when Lash Curl Solution or Neutraliser are applied unevenly, or the eyelash roller was not positioned correctly or the eyelashes were not attached to the eyelash roller straight.
6. It is recommended to tint the eyelashes with Refectocil Eyebrow and Eyelash tint. When applied directly after the eyelash perm, a reduced application time of just 2 minutes is required.
7. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse immediately if this occurs.
8. Always close all tubes immediately after use. Always clean cosmetic brushes and cosmetic dishes immediately after use with Refectocil Saline Solution.
